Hello to all of my beautiful Theta Sisters!! My time abroad has been
nothing short of amazing! I have fallen in love with Italy and cannot
even believe that I only have one more month here in Florence. Here in
Florence, I am an Art History intern tour guide at the Basilica of San
Lorenzo. I give free-guided tours in English to visitors and it counts
for class credit! I love to wander around the city and I
spend any free time visiting museums, where I have seen some of the most
amazing pieces of artwork! I am an Art History Major so it is my favorite
part about living in the birthplace of the Renaissance. The best part
of studying abroad is traveling!! Through language barriers, differences
in cultures, and exploring unique places, I have learned so much about Europe and about myself. Living in a foreign country, although stressful and confusing at
times, has been the greatest life-changing adventure and I cannot wait
to see where it takes me next! I will be leaving Florence in December,
having met life-long friends and falling in love with the charm and
history of Europe. I cannot wait to see you all next semester at
Chapman!
